A $1,000 reward is being offered for information about an attack on a 17-year-old boy after midnight on November 16. He was assaulted on the 900 block of N. 4th St, at the corner of Saint John Neumann Way.

He suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries, and thankfully is expected to make a full recovery.

No weapons were involved. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 215-686-3243 or 215-686-8477 (TIPS), or send a text message to 773847 (PPDTIP).

Also note: Since then we’ve gotten similar reports of a group of teens in the same general area looking to throw punches at passers-by. No one has been hurt, but please be aware and report suspicious activity to the police.
