of the best secret retreats in Philadelphia?

Walk the Northern Liberties Loop, a self-guided tour of Spooky Garden, Seedy Acres, Orkney Park, Orianna Hill Community Garden,
Liberty Lands Park & Community Garden, and The Bodine School Yard Garden. 

Part of a city-wide celebration of community gardens & organized by the Neighborhood Gardens Trust, this tour features a wide variety of approaches to urban greening in a 1-mile, family friendly loop. 

All of our gardens will have tours & activities!

Two of the gardens contain playgrounds!

Spooky Garden will host a BBQ beginning at noon!

It’s a wonderful opportunity to see a diverse collection of innovative approaches to urban greening, from a community-owned park built on a former brown fields site, to a miniature urban forest, to a storm water garden at a public school.

Parking will be available for out-of-neighborhood visitors in the Bodine HS parking lot.
