As a resident of Northern Liberties you are already a member of the NLNA! The best way to plug into the NLNA and neighborhood events is to subscribe to the Neighborhood Updates Email List.
Just type in your email address in the field provided to the right of this post.
There are lots of reasons to become active in the community. As a member you will stay informed of local events, neighborhood initiatives, and city zoning decisions that effect our neighborhood. You can get to know your neighbors through volunteer efforts at Liberty Lands or by helping to plant street trees. Or, you can help to deter crime by walking the streets of the neighborhood with Townwatch.
General Meetings are held on Thursday evenings 4 to 6 times per year from 7pm to 8:30pm at the Community Center.* All are welcome.
Be sure to sign up for our Neighborhood Email List (right sidebar) to get community updates and meeting information. (If you attend at least three meetings, you are eligible to run for the Board of Directors. You can also run if you join and attend three Committee Meetings, or a combination of both.)
*Due to COVID-19 all meetings will be conducted by ZOOM. Be sure to sign up for Community Updates (sidebar) for information.

About the Membership Committee
The mission of the Membership Committee is to encourage neighbors to participate in the business and programs of the NLNA. We attempt to do this through public recognition of neighbors who have contributed to the quality of life for all residents, hosting meet ‘n’ greet events twice a year, and preparing and distributing informational brochures from time to time. It is also our role to maintain a neighborhood list.
Contact a member of the committee if you’d like to join us.
